Short & Soft Trek around the Valley

Duration 07 Days / 06 Nights

Day 1: Arrival / Kathmandu
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel and check in followed by welcome drinks. Rest of the time free. Dinner & overnight at hotel Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing
Breakfast at hotel and check out from hotel. Leave for sightseeing tour to Swayambhunath Stupa, Bouddhanath Stupa & Pashupatinath Temple. Lunch enroute and drive further to Bhaktapur and Patan City for sightseeing. Dinner and overnight at hotel, Kathmandu.

Day 3: Drive to Sundarijal & trek to Chisapani (2150M) (1.5 hour drive) (6hrs walk)
After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Sundarijal. Trail climbs up through mixed forest and passes the Mulkharka village to Chisopani Danda. In a clear day there are good views of mountain from east to west. There are good view of mountains and Katmandu Valley. Overnight at ordinary lodge/teahouse.

Day 4: Trek to Nagarkot (2163M) 6 to 7hrs
An interesting trail takes us to the hill retreat of Nagarkot, perched on a ridge 32 km east of Kathmandu. It commands sweeping views of the Himalayas. Five of the world's ten highest peaks, Everest, Lhotse, Choyu, Makalu and Manaslu are visible from here. Nagarkot is also a popular spot to watch sunrise and sunset. Dinner and overnight at hotel, Nagarkot.

Day 5: Trek to Dhulikhel 6hrs
The trail climbs up to the tower of Nagarkot. From the tower there are excellent views of mountain including view of Mt Everest and Kathmandu valley. Trail descends through rhododendron forest and villages to Dhulikhel. In a clear day, there are excellent views of eastern Himalaya.

Day 6: Trek to Namo Buddha & drive to Kathmandu
Trail ascends steeply through forest to the ridge. From the ridge there are good views of mountain and valley. The trail passes many villages and terrace to reach to Namo Buddha. There are some interesting Tibetan monasteries. Drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 7: Final Departure
Breakfast at hotel and free and transfer to International airport for final departure.
